Community Guidelines

While debating and discussion is fine, we will not tolerate rudeness, insulting posts, personal attacks or purposeless inflammatory posts. Our decision is final in these matters.

You must be 18 years of age to be a member of this forum.

Please refrain from posting meaningless threads, one word (or short) non-sense posts, or the such.

Multiple or repeated posting in order to increase your post count is not allowed.

Advertising, spamming and trolling is not allowed. This includes using the forum email and Private message system to spam other members.

We also do not allow posts that are sexual in nature or violate Crime Case Files community standards. The Crime Case Files team shall be the sole arbitrator of what does and what does not violate community standards

Discussion of illegal activities such as software and music piracy and other intellectual property violations are not allowed.

Each member is allowed one login account. Registering with multiple accounts is not allowed

We do not allow members to share their accounts or user names. Only one person is permitted to use an account or user name.

We reserve the right to remove offensive posts without notice.

The use of Capital letters outside of their normal use is not permitted as it is seen as SHOUTING, members may be offended by this, so use your common sense.

If you are going to post non-English on these forums, please also post an English Translation of your post.

Also while these rules cover most common situations, they cannot anticipate everything. Consequently we reserve the right to take any actions we deem appropriate to ensure these forums are not disrupted or abused in any way.

You cannot post any affiliate or referral links, or post anything asking for a referral. You cannot solicit members to visit other sites, and you cannot advertise to do so. Such posts will be subject to removal.

If you own a website you can submit your site to our Link Directory. Then you are able to add that link to your signature if you like. (link to your submission)

You cannot post advertisements or notices for contests.

We also reserve the right to ban anyone who willfully violates the forum rules, as access to our forums are a privilege and not a right.

Do not post any member's full name, address, phone number (including your own). This one of the most important rules. There will be no warning- instant Ban!


Advertising Services and Solicitation

We do not allow people to post threads or to send private messages, visitor messages or emails to users here that advertise or solicit any website, products, services, funds other forums or donations. Explicit advertising and solicitations in signatures is also prohibited.

Do not discuss illegal activities. Our server is hosted in the USA and so is subject to US law. Please do not expose us to any unnecessary legal liability.

User Names

No part of the forum name may be used as a username

No member may use any part of a staff members username

No member can have a username that is close to, or could be confused with a staff members username

Avatars

are limited to a size

Avatars that may be confused with official staff avatars are not allowed.


Signature Rules

If you own a website you can submit your site to our Link Directory. Then you are able to add that link to your signature if you like. (link to your submission)

We reserve the right to ask you to change and/or remove your signature or avatar at any time, for any reason.

No links are to be used in signatures.

Any signature or avatar that is offensive or insulting to either us, our members, or our staff, are prohibited.

All signatures should not exceed the following size limits The maximum size of your custom image is 500 by 100 pixels or 9.8 KB (whichever is smaller). you can't have both text and images

Most of all:

• Keep all commentary civil, and be courteous at all times. Constructive criticism is welcome, but insults directed towards other users or the site admins will not be tolerated. Coarse/insulting language will not be tolerated.
• No commercial advertising is permitted.
• Any posts deemed to be self promotion, advertising, or spam can and will be removed. NO SPAM - NO ADVERTISING eg. Posting and making excessive, inappropriate and unnecessary references to your products and websites is self promotion.
• This is not the place to settle a disagreement or to be a 'wall of shame'. Any posts deemed to be of this nature will be removed. Settle your disputes in private please.
• If you feel a post violates any of these rules, or you need to bring it to the attention of a moderator (move threads/close/split), please use the ‘report to modertor’ link to notify the moderators.

Failure to abide by these rules may result in an editing, negative moderation or deletion of your post. We reserve the right to ban abusers from the site.

We reserve the right to update and modify these rules as the needs of the community dictate to ensure the smooth operation of this community.
