Hull baby murderer Oliver Longcake jailed for life

A man has been jailed after he admitted murdering his partner's baby by stamping on her.

Oliver Longcake, 21, admitted killing Alisia Salter at her home in Davidstow Close, Bransholme, Hull, in March.

Longcake was given a life sentence and told he would serve at least 13 years in prison after pleading guilty at Hull Crown Court on Wednesday.

The court heard Longcake had been taking care of Alisia when the attack took place.

Police were alerted by doctors at Hull Royal Infirmary where Alisia was pronounced dead on 22 March after being attacked earlier in the day.
