POLICE are asking for the public's help to find an elderly man lurking near an eastern suburbs school who grabbed a schoolgirl.
A police spokesman said the 15-year-old girl was waiting in a laneway at the rear of Unley High School in Seafield Ave, Kingswood about 10.50am Thursday when she was approached by a man aged about 70.
"The man was looking at the girl in a manner that made her very uncomfortable, he then offered the girl $50 to go with him," the spokesman said.
"When the girl refused and walked away she said the elderly man grabbed her arm and then the front of her shirt before he ran away, she was not physically hurt during the incident.
"The offender had short stubby grey coloured hair, he was wearing a light blue long sleeved shirt tucked into his blue jeans, and a black Adidas brand cap.
"The man has been seen in the area previously and Sturt Police appeal to any person who may have seen the man or have any other information that may assist with the investigation to contact Bank SA Crime Stoppers 1800 333 000."
