Lorenzo Leatherwood Sr., 43, of Sobul Avenue, was charged with trafficking in drugs and possession of a drug Oct. 2 at East Market Street and Cotter Avenue. Officers reported seeing Leatherwood toss a small package into the back of his truck. Police said heroin was found in his vehicle.
Benjamin M. Rich, 19, of Lumiere Street, was charged with trafficking in drugs, possessing marijuana, possessing drug paraphernalia and possessing criminal tools at his home Sept. 30.
Ronnelle D. Elmore, 20, of Marcy Street, and Mark E. Brisby, 23, of Amherst Street, were each charged with trafficking in drugs and possessing marijuana Sept. 29. Officers reported finding two packs of six individually wrapped rocks of crack cocaine, three grams of marijuana and a marijuana blunt cigar.
Daniel C. Snider, 20, of Elma Street, was charged with trafficking in drugs and possession of drug paraphernalia Sept. 30 at his home. Reports said officers found marijuana.
Jason Snyder, 28, of Uniontown, was charged with illegal possession of chemicals for the manufacture of drugs, possessing scheduled drugs and obstructing official business Oct. 1 in the 1100 block of Allendale Avenue. Officers reported finding a pill bottle that contained methamphetamine, Xanax, pseudoephedrine and a white coffee filter with traces of methamphetamine near where Snyder was arrested. Police said Snyder fled from his car after being stopped.
A 32-year-old Frederick Boulevard man was shot and robbed of $800 on Oct. 1, according to reports. Reports listed three children, all under age 11, as witnesses.
A Dover Avenue man, 24, reported he was shot in the arm Oct. 1 while sitting in the passenger seat of a vehicle at South Hawkins Avenue and Diagonal Road.
Two men, described as early to mid-20s, one about 5-foot-11 and 125 pounds, the other about 5-foot-9 and 145 pounds, broke into a home Oct. 1 in the 400 block of West Miller Avenue. Reports said the two men threatened the resident at gunpoint and stole a cell phone and credit card.
A Cuyahoga Falls man, 24, reported that another man, described as 25 to 35 years old, about 6 foot and 140-170 pounds, approached his vehicle Oct. 1 on Kenmore Boulevard at 17th Street Southwest and robbed him at gunpoint of $73.
A 25-year-old woman reported Oct. 4 that she was raped in the 100 block of Phillip Avenue.
A Pinetop Court resident told a Summit County sheriff's deputy Sept. 30 that he believes his dentures, valued at $1,400, were stolen.
Maria Mickey, 38, of Richfield, was charged Oct. 5 with child endangering. Police said that Mickey was driving on West Market Street with her 14-year-old daughter on Sept. 24 about 10 p.m. Mickey's daughter told authorities that she asked her mother to pull over because she was driving erratically. According to reports, Mickey pulled into a parking lot in the 3000 block of West Market and stopped the car. The girl said she got out of the car and her mother drove off. Since she was unfamiliar with the area, she said, she hid in the bushes and called her grandfather, who kept her on the phone until he could find her.
Softball apparel and a set of golf clubs, valued at a total of nearly $2,000, were taken from a truck parked in the 2600 block of Chamberlain Road Oct. 5.
Six Speedway gift cards have been activated and stolen from Marc's, 2753 W. Market St., since July 19. The latest $50 card was reported stolen Oct. 2.

Jewelry valued at $5,990 was reported stolen Sept. 28 from a Kingston Road home.
A Myersville Road man told deputies that a fraudulent check was used to withdraw more than $1,100 from his bank account Sept. 30.
A Uniontown man said a laptop computer, cell phone and other items were taken from a van belonging to Safety Technologies of Medina. The van was parked at the man's home.
A Manchester Road man said a door to his home was forced open Sept. 21 and $1,080 in currency and rolled quarters was taken from an upstairs bedroom.
Breaking and entering
A Clinton man reported Sept. 26 that a home on Grove Road was broken into and copper piping was removed from the basement and 40 record albums were taken from the attic.
Matthew S. Carper, 34, of Bushey Avenue, was charged Oct. 4 with domestic violence. He is accused of assaulting his wife.
A 79-year-old Oser Road woman reported that on Oct. 6, two men wearing yellow reflective vests knocked on her door and offered information about future construction on Interstate 76. She walked to the backyard with one of the men. When she went inside her home, she found that cash had been taken from her purse and a diamond ring was taken from a dresser.
A Wadsworth Road man reported Oct. 5 that he received a package from someone who signed an attached letter as ''Big Bill'' and included a package of Pop Rocks candy. He told police on Sept. 26 someone broke into the home and left a package of Pop Rocks on the inside window ledge and a pair of women's underwear under the bed. A month earlier, the man said he found a pair of women's underwear and a bottle of vodka in his pickup.
Amber Wolfe, 21, of South Columbine Avenue, was booked at the Summit County Jail on a domestic violence charge Sept. 28. Police accused her of biting her boyfriend on the back, causing bleeding.
Aaron Rardon, 23, of Mohawk Trail, was charged with domestic violence and resisting arrest Sept. 27. He is accused of jumping on his sister.
A Summit Children Services worker reported that a 4-year-old boy said he was sexually assaulted before being moved to a foster home.
Allin X. Swaney, 28, of Akron, was charged with aggravated robbery and possessing drug paraphernalia Oct. 1 at the Walmart in the 3500 block of Hudson Drive. Police said he fought with employees and tried to steal a television and DVD recorder. Reports said Swaney had a knife in his pocket.
William G. Wendell, 39, of Silverwood Drive, was charged with domestic violence Oct. 5.
Danielle L. Crow, 18, of Akron, was charged with domestic violence Oct. 3. She is accused of shoving a pregnant woman in the 2900 block of Crown Pointe Drive.
The window of a car was smashed Sept. 30 in the 5100 block of Bayside Lake Drive and a laptop computer, its case and a GPS unit were stolen.
Cool Beans, 103 W. Liberty St., reported the theft of $500 from a cash register Oct. 2.
A laptop computer was taken from a home in the 400 block of Harding Street Oct. 5.
Police were called to an apartment in the 200 block of Ivy Hill Lane on Oct. 6 for a report of a gunshot. Reports said the homeowner accidentally discharged a gun. The bullet was recovered in the wall of the condo next door.
Vance L. Stewart, 21, of Morris Road, was charged with burglary Oct. 2 in the 800 block of Morris Road.
Theodore R. Urbanowicz, 21, of Stow, was charged with theft Oct. 2 on Summit Road and Wilson Avenue. Police accused him of stealing street signs on Depeyster Street and Summit Road.
Justin Gillium, 35, of Stinaff Street, was charged with domestic violence Oct. 3 at his home.
John A. Comyns, 48, of Shadowlawn Drive, was charged with domestic violence Oct. 3. He is accused of assaulting his wife.
Ashley Fain, 23, of Neville Avenue, Akron, was booked at the Stark County Jail on Sept. 29 on a felony robbery charge. She is accused of concealing girls clothing, valued at $73, in her purse at the T.J. Maxx store on Everhard Road Northwest, and then striking a store associate with the purse.
James Hunt, 33, of Everhard Road Northwest, was jailed in Stark County on Sept. 29 after turning himself in at Jackson Township police headquarters on a warrant accusing him of felony theft.
Joni Martin, 27, of Millersburg, was booked at the Stark County Jail on Sept. 28 on a warrant charging felony forgery and two counts of theft. Martin was picked up at the Holmes County Sheriff's Office.
Police were told Sept. 30 that a man's identification was used to make a purchase totaling $855 on his credit card at a business in Clarksville, Ind.
A St. Andrews Street Northwest resident said Sept. 28 that his identity was used to pay bills, totaling $2,573, at several businesses.
A safe, stamp collection and other items, valued at $1,060, were stolen Sept. 29 from a Meadowview Drive Northwest home.
A $1,100 backhoe and bucket attachment were stolen Sept. 27 from a flatbed truck belonging to a Sioux Falls, S.D., trucking company. The truck was parked at the Travel Centers of America stop on Portage Street Northwest.
A resident told police Sept. 25 that her credit-card number was used to make purchases in Columbus totaling $675 on Sept. 23.
A Redd Avenue Northwest resident said two unlocked vehicles were entered and speakers, a woofer and other items, valued at $1,125, were taken.
Jillion Smith, 43, of Martindale Road Northeast, was booked at the Stark County Jail on a felony domestic violence charge Oct. 1. Police accused her of striking her husband in the mouth during an argument.
Jimmie Taylor, 46, of Ferndale Road Northwest, was jailed Sept. 29 on charges of robbery, criminal trespass and petty theft. Police said he entered a Speedway convenience store on Everhard Road Northwest Sept. 26 and took cigars without paying for them.
John Roush, 40, and Christine Roush, 19, of Middlebranch Avenue Northeast, were jailed Sept. 25. Police charged Christine Roush with domestic violence and felonious assault, and accused her of cutting her father with a knife. John Roush was booked on a warrant for domestic violence and a traffic violation.
Clinton Matthew, 21, of Gulf Street Northwest, was jailed Sept. 26 on two counts of burglary and two counts of grand theft involving $6,160 worth of jewelry and cash reported stolen. Matthews is accused of selling the jewelry for $1,792 during several visits to the Hartville Coin & Jewelry shop.
Cody Eremich, 19, of Pleasant Valley Drive Northwest, was jailed Sept. 26 on a warrant charging him with assault.
Robert Duffield, 63, of West Salem, was arrested Oct. 6 on charges of aggravated burglary and using weapons while intoxicated. Police accused him of breaking into a home in the 7000 block of Palmer Road, Congress Township, carrying a loaded handgun and threatening the 37-year-old resident.
Police said a 24-year-old woman was assaulted Oct. 6 by her husband at their home in the 8000 block of Deerfield Avenue, Baughman Township.
Tools and chains valued at $1,200 were taken Oct. 6 from a construction site at Clinton and Shank roads, Chippewa Township.
An employee of Rural King of Ohio, 3541 E. Lincoln Way, Wooster Township, is accused of taking $1,300 from the business.
A video game system, an iPod and two computers, with a total value of $6,495, were taken Oct. 6 from a dormitory room in Holden Hall, College of Wooster, 1101 Beall Ave.
Tampering with a coin machine
Vending machines at Lincoln Way Drive Thru, 815 W. Old Lincoln Way, were broken into Oct. 2 and $850 was taken.
A 1998 Ford pickup truck valued at $1,000 was taken Oct. 7 from a home in the 500 block of North Buckeye Street.
